1. Eligibility & Approval Policy
This policy defines the eligibility criteria for becoming an Iaccred Approved Centre.
- The organisation must have legal registration in its operating country.
- Must have a clear organisational structure, leadership and responsible persons.
- Financially stable and able to sustain educational activities.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and compliance.
- No history of malpractice or regulatory violations.
- Internal policies on safeguarding, equality, health & safety, data protection must exist.
- Approval grants permission to display the “Iaccred Approved Centre” logo.
- Approval does NOT grant automatic accreditation of courses.
2. Accreditation Criteria & Evaluation Policy
This policy defines the standards used to assess courses and trainers for full accreditation.
- Accreditation applies to individual courses and trainers only.
- Courses are evaluated for: learning objectives/outcomes, curriculum quality, trainer qualifications, teaching methodology, assessment standards, student feedback system, and CPD compliance.
- Trainers must submit CVs, diplomas, regulatory compliance documents, and CPD history.
- Site inspections may be performed randomly or as part of initial application.
- Each accredited course or trainer receives a unique verification code.
- Accreditation is valid for 1 year, subject to renewal and re-evaluation.
3. Conflict of Interest Policy
This policy maintains impartiality and integrity in the accreditation process.
- Iaccred does not own, operate or financially benefit from any training provider.
- Staff, assessors and decision makers declare conflicts annually.
- Family or personal relationships with applicant organisations must be disclosed.
- Accreditation decisions are based solely on objective criteria.
4. Data Protection & Privacy Policy (UK GDPR + US Compliant)
This policy ensures personal data is processed lawfully and securely.
- ICO Registration: ZB888028 (UK)
- Personal data is collected only for accreditation purposes.
- No data is shared with third parties without consent.
- All applicants may request access, correction or deletion of their personal data.
- Data is stored securely with encryption and access control.
- Retention period: 6 years after termination of accreditation.
Malpractice & Maladministration Policy
Purpose:
This policy defines malpractice and maladministration and outlines procedures for prevention, detection, investigation, and sanctions.
Definitions:
• Malpractice: Any deliberate activity, fraud or misconduct which compromises the integrity of the accreditation process.
• Maladministration: Any unintentional mismanagement, administrative error or failure to comply with accreditation requirements.
Examples of Malpractice:
• Submitting fraudulent documents
• Falsifying trainer qualifications or course records
• Allowing unqualified trainers to deliver accredited courses
• Issuing certificates without proper assessments
• Plagiarism or intellectual property theft
Sanctions:
• Suspension of accreditation
• Termination of accreditation
• Reporting to relevant authorities
• Legal action if applicable
Procedures:
• All allegations are investigated confidentially.
• The accused party will be informed and allowed to respond.
• Investigations are completed within 30 days where possible.
• Sanctions are applied based on evidence.

Complaints & Appeals Policy
Purpose:
To ensure a fair, transparent, and consistent process for handling complaints and appeals.
Complaints Procedure:
• Complaints may be submitted by email or in writing.
• Acknowledgment will be sent within 5 working days.
• Investigation will be completed within 28 days.
• A formal decision letter will be provided.
Appeals Procedure:
• Appeals must be lodged within 14 calendar days after receiving the decision.
• Appeals are reviewed by an independent appeals panel.
• The panel’s decision is final and binding.
Confidentiality:
All complaints and appeals will be handled confidentially, respecting data privacy rights.

Safeguarding & Equality Policy
Purpose:
To protect learners, staff, and applicants from harm and ensure equality of opportunity.
Safeguarding Commitments:
• Zero tolerance to abuse, harassment, discrimination, or exploitation.
• Background checks conducted for assessors and staff as appropriate.
• Mandatory safeguarding training for staff.
• Clear reporting channels for safeguarding concerns.

To ensure accredited organisations and courses maintain high standards over time.

• Accredited centres must submit an annual compliance review.
• Accredited trainers must complete a minimum number of CPD hours annually.
• IACCred monitors feedback from learners and stakeholders.
• Accreditation standards are periodically reviewed and updated.
• Continuous quality assurance audits may be scheduled.

Fees & Refund Policy
Purpose:
To define transparent financial terms for IACCred services.
Key Points:
• All fees are published and provided to applicants before service delivery.
• Full payment must be received prior to starting evaluation processes.
• Refunds are only applicable if IACCred is unable to deliver services due to its own fault.
• No refund is provided for failure to meet accreditation requirements.
• Late payments may result in delay or suspension of accreditation.
